Psychologists studied a group of children from the time they were very young until they were in their 30’s. They were interested in discovering why certain children managed to succeed in spite of growing up in very ‘disturbed’ circumstances. Some children were able to stay happy, engaged and healthy even though they lived in extremely stressful environments. The study determined that resilience was the characteristic that was central to their ability to thrive. The key to resilience is perception. Rather than interpreting events as damaging or traumatic, the successful children saw them as…
Opportunities for growth.

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know I prefer the old look of the daily emails. When you look at the new version in a browser or mobile phone, the text and background are too similar in color. There’s not enough contrast, making it difficult to read.
Thanks,
Kevin
Thank you Kevin. We are shifting things around a bit and everything will change for the better soon. Please keep in touch and let us know how you like the change when it happens. Which will be in the next several weeks. In the meantime, I’m not sure why the look is different. Will check into that. Thanks again. Jarl
