We’re rarely angry for the reasons we think. Emotions created by early life experiences reside just below the surface of our conscious awareness. Occasionally something reminds us of a situation that originally caused that anger and a new flare up arises. But because we’re seeing through a filter that’s projecting an emotional memory, we may not be reading the situation accurately. It’s healthy to feel the anger, but usually unwise to act from it.
