Thanksgiving is our favorite holiday. It’s a culturally sanctioned opportunity to actively acknowledge and be thankful for the blessings in our lives. It’s a kind of attitude adjustment we make to our psyche once a year. But Thanksgiving need not be the only occasion we celebrate our good fortune. When we acknowledge what’s going well in our lives, we immediately realize how lucky we are. It makes us happier, more generous and more compassionate towards others. It turns out that the very act of giving thanks simply prepares us to recognize and feel the tremendous blessings that we are already receiving from the Universe.
Today marks the second anniversary of Gratitude Twenty Four Seven. We hope you’ve enjoyed reading them as much as we’ve enjoyed writing them. Thank you so much for sharing this journey with us. In each post and through our online courses we seek to communicate the understanding that our thoughts create our reality and that gratitude (literally, giving thanks), is the BEST possible way we can do that. Living in gratitude is a simple and powerful way to create peace and fulfillment in our lives. And, it has no side effects!
In Gratitude,
Steve and Jarl (aka Merci)
