No matter what side of an issue we’re on, neither side is completely right. We can’t totally understanding anything without exploring its opposite. When we catch ourselves automatically agreeing with ‘our side,’ it’s time to seek more balance by questioning our own logic, exploring other’s perspectives and letting go of attachment to unexamined ideas. Very few ‘truths’ are absolute. Towing any party line without consideration prevents honest discussions. Our brains are programmed to interpret according to dominant beliefs. Realizing this helps loosen our attachment to being right and makes us more…

Understanding and harmonious.
