Purveyors of various personal products encourage us to assign enormous value to our personal appearance. While it would be unrealistic to think that looks don’t matter, worrying, fretting and feeling badĀ over something so insignificant as our outer layer is tragic. Looking good may open a few doors and garner some attention but, ironically, the more authentic we become, the less we care about superficialities and the more others truly appreciate us. The way to get more out of life, than we ever could from impressing others with our personal appearance, is to…
Love and accept ourselves.
