The more evolved we are, the less we’re at the mercy of our senses. That’s not to say we won’t love to to be stimulated and enjoy ourselves. We still delight in a sumptuous meal, beautiful view, delightful music or the smell of our favorite flowers. We just don’t suffer in the absence of these preferences.
