Whether we’re conservative, liberal, conventional or alternative, the information we rely on is mostly story. Stories don’t tell the entire truth, they just represent a perspective. Buying into any of these stories, not only steers us farther away from thinking for ourselves, it divides humanity into us and them. The more attached we are to our perspective, the bigger the wedge between us and others and the farther we are from the truth. Nothing is all good or bad. The real question to ask is whether our thinking brings us closer to this ultimate truth:
We’re all one.
