Should have means whatever happened wasn’t right. Should means that somebody needs to act in a certain way to be ‘correct’. Should is a personal opinion that editorializes what the Universe has brought forth in any particular moment. It’s like saying, ‘Yeah, I know that there have been trillions of events since the creation of time that have brought us up to this very moment, and I know that there is cause and effect and momentum and basic laws that govern what happens, but I still believe it should have happened my way…
