Each and every secret adds a brick in the wall of our own private prison. Ironically, what we ‘hide’ from the outside world isn’t really hidden. Though others might not consciously know the details, our deceptions show up energetically, which is essentially how we all relate. That’s why lying in hopes of controlling our image is futile. Peace and happiness can only come when we stop trying to manipulate the outside world. When we use that energy instead to live authentically, what shows up in our lives is in alignment…
With our true selves.

This is provocative and beautiful. I do worry about all the secrets, mine and others, but never had such clarity on they’re being actual lies. What I like about Ahura Mazda: The lie is evil. Do good and do not lie.

Thanks Larry! Try telling the truth about one thing to just one person and see how it feels. Usually others don’t judge us nearly as much as we judge ourselves. Telling the truth helps us see that! I used to have several things I didn’t want others to know about me and I just started being honest about them and it was NO BIG DEAL at all. I can say now that I have no secrets from anyone. YAY! It feels good. 🙂
