When others don’t behave according to our preferences, it doesn’t mean we’re right and they’re wrong. Their job is to honor their own feelings. If our reaction to their choices makes us feel bad, anxious or nervous, quick relief is best found by adjusting our thinking. From a big picture perspective, their behavior might be perfect.
