Most of the arguments we have happen in our own minds. We remember something someone said that offended us and develop an elaborate argument supporting our point of view and decimating theirs. Even though these exchanges are imaginary, they affect our mood and body chemistry. Most of these conversations are harmless and may even help us think things through so we can develop our thoughts.
