We all want to feel like there are others who understand us and care about what we’re going through. The ability to connect requires a certain vulnerability, a dropping of judgments about differences of opinion, experience and origin. It necessitates accepting others as they are and exercising mindfulness in our interactions so we can give them our undivided attention.
