Sometimes your mind gets into a frenzy, thinking about one thing after another. The quality of the energy it brings to every subject it encounters is agitated. It’s those times when it doesn’t make sense to use the strategy to get out of the condition that you used to get into it. These are the times you need to stop thinking and stop feeding energy into your mental gymnastics. This is when you need to sit down, calmly breathe in and out several times and just feel the sensations in your body. The only way to feel relief is to get off the hamster wheel and into the body.
