The better we feel about ourselves, the less likely we are to talk about others’ inadequacies. We still recognize our preferences, but we don’t waste time cataloguing the ways others don’t measure up. Catching ourselves in such behavior is a perfect opportunity to look within and ask why we’re so triggered. Perhaps we’re comparing ourselves to them and feeling insecure?
