Every now and then, pause for a moment and silently describe your activity, like “Woman watering flowers.” Or, “Man changing diaper.” Then, unless your mind was totally quiet, notice the ‘story’ you were telling yourself. Was it related to what you were doing or were you lost in another story? How it was making you feel? Remember, all stories are optional.
