Meditation is a technique to enhance relaxation, reduce stress and bring about a peaceful state of mind. Withdrawing the mind from the outside world of stimulation and refocusing it inwardly on just being, has a calming effect, which gives us a chance to see how useless the incessantly circulating thoughts are in creating well being. It helps to lower blood pressure and reduce the damage toxic thoughts cause. It also allows us to experience what exists deep inside, beneath the racing mind and behind all of the commotion in the world…
