Mistakes don’t define who we are. We aren’t what we do, who we know or what we own. The reason we connect so deeply with old friends is that we recognize that no matter how divergent our paths have been, we’re all essentially the same as we were way back then. It’s further evidence of the fundamental truth that’s so easy to lose sight of in the exhausting dash to define ourselves during our working lives: life isn’t ultimately about doing, it’s…
About being.

We are not in a position to judge your friend..what a profound statement.
Not only you,me and every so called concerned people are not supposed to judge another life.let him be.let him find himself.let him correct himself.let him live his life
I am very much thank you for your timely advice.i was concerned about him,no longer am I not because I dont care but because i understand the significance of another life.its a phenomenon happening way beyond the comprehensive nature of our intellect.a life is unveiling to its divine and exuberant nature.

Me neither..I hope his joyful days are ahead

I know a man who was very happy joyful and working at his full throttle.
but I think at a point in his life he slipped and became an unhappy lethargic agitated man.nothing was going good .
he told me he knew that something fundamental is wrong with the way he conducts his life.he needed to go and find it out and reestablish his way of life.its been two years and I see him working on himself, reading meditating and self introspecting.
introspecting.
His friends are married and got into nice jobs.his relatives consider this as wasting his time, because he is not earning as others.
What do you consider he is doing,is it right or is he wasting time
Introspection is never a waste of time. Can he do it while he’s working? Yes. Is it the right thing to do? Only he can answer that question. Perhaps after this period, he will know what his true skills, desires and mission in life is and then will carry it out instead of getting a so-called ‘good’ position. We are not in a position to judge your friend.
