It’s normal for anger to arise when someone’s behavior feels rude or disrespectful. It’s also valid to let the other know how it felt in a reasonable and kind manner. This gives the ‘offender’ a chance to explain our/their actions in case there was a misunderstanding or, apologize if we/they acted unconsciously with no intention to offend. It doesn’t warrant a defensive reaction just because they/we expressed how the behavior felt, as long as it was done kindly. While it’s unpleasant to see a negative reflection mirrored back, right action requires listening to how the behavior felt…
