When we’re tired our tolerance is reduced and it’s easy to be short with others and say things we might later regret. We might even say something in a very terse way to get it out quickly and, because we’re stretched thin, it comes out wrong and offends or hurts others feelings. In these moments it pays to squeeze out a bit of extra effort to pause and do everything we can to express our thoughts with kindness.
