Those who we perceive to be very successful may be stressed out and miserable. On the other hand, we may have pity for someone who’s perfectly satisfied with their life. The point is, there’s truly no objective way to measure what makes people happy. The criteria that each of us uses to determine whether we are satisfied is subjective.
