There’s one kind of love that makes all other types of love possible: Self-love. Until we love ourselves we can’t truly love others. In fact, most of our problems with others stem from issues we have with ourselves because we project our fears, insecurities and self-judgments outward and then blame and judge them for our feelings. Acknowledging that our judgments are projections helps us identify areas we need to work on to expand our own self-awareness. Loving ourselves not only gives others permission to be themselves, it allows us to focus our attention on addressing…
Our own needs.
