The desire to belong to a group is natural. But, tribally excluding others, segregating or placing oneself in a superior category through association, is a weak way to grasp for power that’s neither earned nor real. No one is automatically better than another simply because of the fortunate consequence of being born into prosperity or privilege. No person deserves to be treated inhumanly and no one is unquestionably entitled to more resources. The sooner we understand that we’re all part of the same tribe, the better…
