We make choices every day based on information we just assume is true. We unconsciously hold beliefs about life and our own strengths and limitations. Some these beliefs help us thrive; others leave us feeling distressed and hopeless. Creating a psychological and emotional set point that makes life enjoyable is, however, completely within our reach. It simply requires an awareness about how our beliefs make us feel.
