Physical stress can build strength and endurance, but emotional stress wreaks havoc on body, mind and spirit. Some stress is inevitable like loss and disappointment, but most is self-created, such as, taking other’s words and actions personally, trying to uphold a false sense of self and believing our own fearful thoughts. Nothing is really personal, there’s ultimately nothing to fear and we absolutely can’t control what others think of us.
