We can see what we don’t like about ourselves by looking at our relationships. We project our lack of self-acceptance onto others and believe that they’re actually responsible for the way we feel about them. Of course, there are people we prefer to keep at a distance because they have unhealthy behavior or a lack of integrity. But, they don’t really bother us unless we’re operating on the same plane and in denial. A mild dislike with some compassion indicates discernment.
