We might wonder if life is fair when we perceive someone cheating without repercussion. But cheaters create their own vortex of toxic, internal energy. They have to continue holding up false stories and pretending. They have to endure the discomfort and stress of maintaining the deception or risk being found out. They also know that any admiration they receive is under false pretenses and therefore meaningless.
