Learning to communicate effectively (and lovingly) takes practice and courage. Expressing ourselves honestly can feel scary, especially when we’re not used to doing it. If we were taught as children that our feelings don’t matter, opening up emotionally might feel uncomfortable or even shameful. However, we can learn to enjoy feeling and expressing our feelings. Releasing tension by softening our bellies and breathing consciously helps us relax, drop our defenses and accept our humanness. Allowing our feelings to arise in our awareness can feel like jumping off a cliff, but it’s actually…
The way to take flight.
