Fear is almost always about something in the future. We fear having too much of what we don’t want or not enough of what we do. We worry about health, finances, safety and what other people think. There’s nothing wrong with doing our utmost to prepare for the future as long as we don’t preoccupy ourselves with scary ‘what if’ scenarios and miss the present moment. If something frightening actually does happen, we’ll probably know what to do. We won’t be wasting our time worrying because we’ll be busy…

Jarl and Steve
This item is dead center on what I am what I am working on the most.
I must learn to ‘take action’ without triggering pondering the outcomes, the fear of which has so often made me cautious about taking action. I am trying to ‘take action’ as an integral part of the present in which I am enjoying the fulfillment I expect. This is a new ‘neural pathway’ I am smoothing out and tending.
It is a marvelous thing how you cast your daily gratitudes in such universal terms that they feel like personal attention. How did you know who I am? I suppose it’s because you have touched the me in all of us. It does seem to be the totality of what we need. I think most of us aren’t very sure what we need, and yet here it is, in the present creation we are offered.
I tend to assume that what I don’t know has to be complicated, because it habitually eludes me that I missed the simple stuff under my nose.
Thank you Larry, It’s amazing how often we hear, “How’d you know I was dealing with that issue?” Seems like there really is ONE mind and we are all just a part of it. And then every once in a while someone will unsubscribe and say our posts don’t resonate. Relief from the ego and healing from old wounds is actually pretty simple. The current story is the one to deal with to fix the past hurts. 🙂
