If you view the world as a threatening place, it will be. You’ll see people, situations and calamities all around you. You’ll feel on your guard, anxious and suspicious. You’ll be reluctant to engage in friendly conversation, less willing to meet strangers and far less likely to experience serendipity that could positively impact your moments, days and even your life. It’s always a good idea to exercise discernment, but when you live by the premise that people are fundamentally good, your experience will…
Prove it to be true.

This Earth is a neutral proving ground for experiences. Seeing, hearing, feeling, thinking, smelling, and tasting, are the filters we use to determine our definitions of good and bad. Interacting with bipolar judgments or only “good” thoughts formulates preconceived notions, divisions, and antagonism. The mere idea of outside thought control is exactly why people should look and question both sides or good and bad, of any experience. Suggesting how people should think only good, is a dangerous river current which is also very exhilarating, and thrill quenching. But it’s unbalanced judgment just the same. If the food and water you consume daily looks clear and clean because you think it looks “good”, that doesn’t mean it’s not polluted with fluoride, mercury, ecoli, or pcbs. Neutral stances and balanced thoughts that question both sides of my experience, is what works for me.
Dear Tee Bear, Thank you for your comment. We agree, there is good and bad in the world of duality. There is no question that there are people who abuse everything and everyone and learning to discern is critically important. That being a given, what one spends their time focusing on creates an energetic experience of life. This is our primary point: what we focus on most is what we’ll see. Life has it all and our thoughts have a magnetizing effect that draw to our attention that which we are in the habit of looking for. Realizing there is a good and bad side to everything, one has a choice to look for what’s good, what’s bad, or just enjoy the whole experience of the duality. We are never suggesting that one should only look at the good and pretend there is no bad. But spending too much time looking at the negative is not wise, either. We are suggesting that there is an underlying primal will to good that is the creative-loving force. It transcends the world of duality. When tapped in to that…life has your back. Think of people who constantly complain, blame, shame and look for what’s going wrong. They live in a world of hurt that feels bad. And that very negative energy creates more negativity around them. I’m sure you know people like that. If instead they would turn their attention onto what’s working in their lives and what feels good, life would feel more balanced and they’d have a much more enjoyable experience of life. They’d also be much more pleasant to be around and more people would ‘have their back.’
This little capsule is exactly what I reach for, and I am blessed to be making progress.
