You know, there is a bio-chemical-electrical analog to this (or so I understand), which is apparently just what makes these things happen. Your brain follows well-worn paths of connectivity and association as it passes the electrical pulses that comprise “thought”. Developing new thought patterns surely must involve the re-routing of these movements, breaking away from the old, well-worn, automatic, “easy” paths.
