Anxiety is the by-product of repressed feelings. When you’re uncomfortable or afraid, it’s common to repress or distract yourself from them. This might work temporarily, but they’ll eventually resurface in the form of an uneasiness. You can take medication or numb yourself with drugs, but the discomfort will persist. The only sustainable way to free yourself is to face them head on. Do it by feeling them as physical sensations in your body. Keep your attention there, just noticing what comes up until the discomfort passes. Something beautiful awaits you on the other side of this work…
Peace.

Wonderful! You have fully embodied cutting edge psychology in eight sentences. Does not get better than this.
This gratitude is very valuable to me. I have been making progress on this, but it is still ephemeral. Practice, practice…with confidence and expectation!
