Stress inhibits you from thinking clearly. It raises your blood pressure and makes you anxious. It causes tension and dis-ease in your body. Next time you’re wound up like a spring, stop what you’re doing, take a deep breath and remind yourself that nothing is more important than your health. Find some time to sit quietly just paying attention to the air going in and out. If it’s too hard to do when you’re excited, try it when you’re calm. A few minutes everyday will work wonders in your life. When you’re relaxed…
You do everything better.

Story of my life! But I am learning to break out of the vicious circle so that I can cut out anxious speeding to relax. Sometimes I catch myself relaxing ‘just a little bit’ so I can go back to anxious speeding. It’s a big deal for my work on consciousness! It is fortunate it is such a simple thing, since my socialization is so thick!
