It’s natural to be fearful when trying out new things. Worrying that you won’t live up to your own expectations often causes anxiety and interferes with successful outcomes. Try not to shut yourself down with concerns that things won’t turn out as you wish. Feel your fear and then visualize yourself feeling happy that everything turned out just as you wanted. It’s good to recognize your fears so they don’t lurk in the shadowy corners of your psyche, but don’t dwell on them…
