When your feelings are hurt, remember that the way others behave isn’t about you. As difficult as it may be to believe, nothing is ever personal. Everyone is doing the best they can. They’re acting in a way that feels right to them in any given moment. If their behavior didn’t take your feelings into consideration, it’s because it didn’t occur to them. Hurt feelings are something you don’t want to hold in your consciousness. Let go by feeling them, avoiding blame and shame and forgiving any perceived transgressions. Then…
