Blame, shame and guilt not only deplete your energy, they also hurt your health. On the other hand, understanding, compassion and acceptance energize and revitalize you. If, like most people, you were raised in the blame/shame paradigm, you probably have issues with self-esteem. Though it takes regular practice to change your programming, it’s worth the effort. The more self-accepting you are, the higher your level of self-love. When you’re kind to yourself, you radiate a beam that boomerangs right back at you in kind.
Kind of like a love fest.
