Fear is an evolutionary response that helps you avoid danger. An effective reaction to threatening circumstances has obvious benefits. Unfortunately, fear also arises at the prospect of encountering new and unfamiliar experiences even when they pose no threat whatsoever. The ability to distinguish between fear that preserves and fear that limits you is vital. When you feel apprehensive about a situation that poses no threat to your health or well-being, remember, that kind of fear keeps you from venturing beyond your box and growing yourself.

Scary.
